 Training, Education, Professional History
My degrees are in Biology (BA, high honors), Nutrition (NC, CNC),
Iridology (I), and Doctor of Naturopathy (DN). I have also been California State certified in Acupuncture, by the California Acupuncture Board.
Further formal studies include Traditional Chinese Medicine, Environmental Health, European Biological Medicine, Functional Medicine, Homeopathy, Isopathic Medicine, Immune System Modulation, Neural Therapy, Electro Acupuncture Diagnosis (VEGA), Darkfield Blood Diagnosis Microscopy, Neurotransmitter Medicine, Plant Stem Cells Therapy, and Chelation Therapy (ACAM). I continue to update my education with multiple conferences and seminars annually.
It’s been my privilege to learn from and practice with some of the great
healers of natural medicine in the US, Germany, and Switzerland. These
include Bernard Jensen, John Christopher, Ray Peat, Jeffrey Bland, Maria Bleker, Thomas Rau, Jonathon Wright, Dietrich Klinghart, Eric Braverman, John Lee and numerous others.
In 1994 I founded Nutritional Research, a natural health research and educational organization. In 1997 I co-founded Lucas Valley Clinic, an interdisciplinary health clinic that includes naturopaths, nutritionists, acupuncturists, and medical doctors.
In 2001 I founded Marin Health Educators, which is my current platform as clinical nutritionist and health educator.
I am a founding member of the California Naturopathic Association, and Diplomate Member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants. I’ve lectured throughout the US and Canada and authored numerous articles on nutrition. |
